EMILY’s List candidate Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) piloted a Black Hawk helicopter when it was hit with a rocket-propelled grenade in Iraq. She lost both her legs and part of her arm in the blast, but she landed the helicopter successfully. Val Demings (FL-08) was the daughter of a janitor who grew up to be Orlando’s first-ever female Chief of Police. While she was chief, the city’s violent crime rate dropped by 40 percent. Cheri Bustos (IL-17), another EMILY’s List candidate, worked as a journalist , exposing corruption and uncovering scandals for 17 years before she started her political career.

In short, our candidates are totally awesome. So what we’re about to ask you to do might be especially difficult. We want you to pick your top three House candidates.

We know the upcoming months are especially critical in the election cycle, and we want to know whose campaign should get an extra push from EMILY’s List. The candidates who receive the most votes will get special EMILY’s List emails to boost their campaigns.

We want to know whose campaign messages really resonate with you, and who has the best plan to shake up Congress. Tell us where you think we should invest.

You might not be able to go door-to-door to campaign for your favorite candidates, but by voting for them now, you could help them win their races. If you ask any of our candidates, they’ll tell you their competition is fierce, and they can always use more help.
